- 5. Side FRONT PANEL – 2 QTY
- 6. Upper FRONT PANEL – 2 QTY
- 7. Center FRONT PANEL – 2 QTY
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse the FRONT PANEL yoke and BACK PANEL yoke with fusible interfacing.
- Stitch and serge the center seam of the center FRONT PANEL. Press the center edge towards the right FRONT PANEL and topstitch 0.5 cm from the seam.
- Attach the side FRONT PANEL to the center FRONT PANEL. Serge the seam and press towards the center FRONT PANEL. Topstitch 0.5 cm from the seam.
- Attach the upper FRONT PANEL to the side FRONT PANEL. Serge the seam and press towards the upper FRONT PANEL. Topstitch 0.5 cm from the seam.
- Attach the yoke to the FRONT PANEL. Serge the seam and press towards the FRONT PANEL. Topstitch 0.5 cm from the seam.
- Attach the side BACK PANEL to the center BACK PANEL. Serge the seam and press towards the center BACK PANEL. Topstitch 0.5 cm from the seam.
- Attach the yoke to the BACK PANEL. Serge the seam and press towards the BACK PANEL. Topstitch 0.5 cm from the seam.
- Serge the center edge of the BACK PANEL. Stitch the center BACK PANEL seam up to the NOTCHES for the ZIPPER. Press open the center BACK PANEL seam, pressing the ZIPPER openings. Insert the ZIPPER.
- Stitch and serge the shoulder SEAM ALLOWANCES of the dress. Press the shoulder seams towards the BACK PANEL.
- Stitch and serge the side SEAM ALLOWANCES of the dress. Press the side seams towards the BACK PANEL.
- Stitch the shoulder and side SEAM ALLOWANCES of the fused FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL yokes, press seams open. Serge the outer edge of the yokes. Place the yoke pieces right sides together with the garment and stitch the neckline edge of the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL. Stitch the armhole in two steps: first the upper armhole edge, then the lower armhole edge. Attach the center edge of the BACK PANEL yoke to the ZIPPER allowance. Topstitch the allowance to the yoke 0.2 cm from the seam. Turn the FACING to the wrong side and press.
- Serge, hem, and topstitch the bottom of the garment.
