CUTTER'S MUST

  • From main fabric:
  • 1. BACK PANEL – 2 QTY
  • 2. Upper FRONT PANEL – 2 QTY
  • 3. SLEEVE – 2 QTY
  • 4. Large FLOUNCE – 2 QTY
  • 5. Lower FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY

Sewing Instructions

  1. Mark and stitch the waist darts on the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL. Press the darts on the FRONT PANEL towards the center front, and on the BACK PANEL towards the center back.
  2. Press the BIAS BINDING in half lengthwise and finish the neckline of the upper FRONT PANEL. Stitch with loosely tensioned stitches along the lower edge of the upper FRONT PANEL between the NOTCHES at a distance of 0.5 cm from the edge and gather. Attach the upper FRONT PANEL to the lower FRONT PANEL, creating an overlap. Overlock the attachment seam and press it towards the lower FRONT PANEL.
  3. Press the BIAS BINDING in half lengthwise and finish the neckline edge of the BACK PANEL. Overlock the center back edge. Stitch the center back seam up to the NOTCH for the ZIPPER. Press open the center back seam, pressing the ZIPPER openings, and insert the ZIPPER.
  4. Stitch the side and shoulder seams of the dress. Overlock the side and shoulder seams of the dress, press them towards the BACK PANEL.
  5. Attach the FLOUNCE to the lower edge of the SLEEVE. Overlock the attachment seam and press it towards the FLOUNCE. Overlock the lower edge of the FLOUNCE, fold to the wrong side, press and topstitch.
  6. Stitch and overlock the SLEEVE seam. Set the SLEEVES into the armholes according to the NOTCHES.
  7. Overlock the lower edge of the dress, fold up and topstitch at a distance of 1.5 cm from the lower edge.
