Tech. Description

Two Layer Dress

Introducing a sophisticated two-layer dress pattern featuring a fitted princess-seamed bodice, delicate spaghetti straps, and an elegant asymmetric sheer hem.

When To Wear

This versatile dress is perfect for a variety of occasions, offering effortless elegance for:

  • Semi-Formal Gatherings: Its refined silhouette and flowy hem make it ideal for receptions, garden parties, and celebratory events.
  • Summer Evenings: The lightweight, layered design ensures comfort and style for warm-weather soirées.
  • Bridesmaid Attire: a graceful and contemporary choice for wedding party members.

Key Design Features

Silhouette: Fitted through the bodice with princess seams on the front and back, falling into a slim skirt with an asymmetric diagonal hem.

Neckline: a soft V-shaped (sweetheart) neckline at the front, with a straight-across back.

Straps: Delicate spaghetti straps, adjusted in length at fitting and stitched to the back.

Layers: a two-layer construction, with an opaque inner dress and a sheer chiffon outer layer joined at the neckline.

Closure: An invisible zipper, 25 cm long, placed in the center back seam.

Hem: An asymmetric hemline: the sheer layer falls below the inner dress and slopes diagonally from side to side, creating a graceful drape.

Level Of Difficulty

Intermediate. Requires working with delicate fabrics, installing an invisible zipper, and precise layered construction.
