- 2. Lower BACK PANEL – QTY 2
- 3. Lower FRONT PANEL – QTY 1
- 4. Upper FRONT PANEL – QTY 2
- 5. FRONT PANEL FACING – QTY 4
Sewing Instructions
- Stitch along the lower edge of the upper FRONT PANEL with loosely tensioned stitches. Gather.
- Overlock the upper, most prominent edge of the lower FRONT PANEL. Fold the overlocked edge and topstitch.
- Fold the FACING pieces in pairs and stitch the lower edge of the FACING between the NOTCHES. Press the stitched seam. Attach the FACING to the upper edge of the upper FRONT PANEL and press the seam allowance towards the FACING. Stitch the upper edge of the FACING. Press the FACING. Attach the FACING to the lower edge of the upper FRONT PANEL. Press the attached seam. Hand-stitch the opening in the center of the FACING. According to the technical drawing, interlace the FACINGS and attach them to the lower FRONT PANEL. Press the lower edge of the inner part of the FACING. Topstitch the FACING to the upper FRONT PANEL.
- Attach the upper BACK PANEL to the lower BACK PANEL. Overlock the seam and press it towards the lower BACK PANEL.
- Overlock and stitch the side seams. Press the side seams open. Overlock the drawstring casing loops. Topstitch along the side seams at a distance of 0.9 cm, then insert the drawstring.
- Overlock the armhole edge of the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL, and the neckline edge of the BACK PANEL. Topstitch the overlocked edges onto the dress.
- Overlock the center back seam. Stitch the center back seam up to the NOTCH for the ZIPPER. Press the center back seam open, press the ZIPPER openings. Insert the ZIPPER.
- Cut the TRIM STRIPS. Fold the TRIM STRIPS lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch 0.5 cm from the fold. Turn the TRIM STRIPS right side out and press. Sew the TRIM STRIPS to the neckline edge of the FRONT PANEL.
- Put on the dress, adjust the length of the TRIM STRIPS, and sew the back ends to the BACK PANEL.
- Overlock the lower edge of the dress, press to the wrong side, and topstitch.
