Sewing Instructions
- Serge, stitch, and press open the princess seams on the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL.
- Serge and stitch the shoulder and side seams. Press the side and shoulder seams towards the BACK PANEL.
- Serge the center edge of the LINING, stitch up to the NOTCH for the ZIPPER, and press open, pressing the ZIPPER slits. Stitch and serge the LINING pieces. Press the LINING seams towards the BACK PANEL. Serge the bottom edge of the LINING, fold under, and topstitch.
- Stitch and press open the center seam of the dress up to the NOTCH for the ZIPPER. Insert the invisible ZIPPER.
- Place the LINING and dress right sides together and stitch the neckline edge. Topstitch the SEAM ALLOWANCES of the FACING to the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL LINING at a distance of 0.2 cm from the FACING seam. Stitch the upper part of the armhole, adjust the LINING, then stitch the lower part of the armhole. Topstitch the armhole FACING SEAM ALLOWANCES to the LINING at a distance of 0.2 cm from the FACING seam. Fold under the center edge of the LINING and stitch to the dress SEAM ALLOWANCES in the ZIPPER area.
- Serge the bottom edge of the dress, fold under, and topstitch at a distance of 0.5 cm from the bottom edge. The underskirt of the dress can be made from TULLE or purchased ready-made.
