- From main fabric:
- 1. FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY
- 2. BACK PANEL – 1 QTY
- 3. Stand-up COLLAR – 2 QTY
- 4. Armhole FACING for BACK PANEL – 1 QTY
- 5. Armhole FACING for FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY
- 6. Side stripe – 2 QTY
- FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING: armhole FACING for FRONT PANEL, armhole FACING for BACK PANEL.
Sewing Instructions
TIP: To ensure the fabric remains stretchy in areas with finished seams, stitch the cut pieces with a narrow zigzag or special stretch stitch. To keep the bottom edge stretchy, overcast the hem with an overlock stitch, then stitch it using a twin needle. The same applies to finishing other edges of the garment that should not lose elasticity. These recommendations do not apply to industrial production.
- Fuse the armhole FACING for the FRONT PANEL and the armhole FACING for the BACK PANEL.
- Stitch the center back seam.
- Stitch the darts on the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL.
- Overcast the darts on the FRONT PANEL.
- Stitch the side stripe to the side edge of the BACK PANEL.
- Stitch the side stripe to the side edge of the FRONT PANEL.
- Stitch the shoulder edges, inserting tape.
- Stitch the shoulder edges of the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL FACINGS.
- Overcast the outer edge of the FACINGS.
- Stitch the side edges of the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL FACINGS.
- Finish the armhole with the FACING.
- Fold the FACING to the wrong side of the garment, enclosing the seam and forming an edge. Press the armhole.
- Topstitch along the armhole.
- Attach the outer edge of the FACING to the side and shoulder seams.
- Finish the COLLAR along the outer edge.
- Stitch the center seam of the COLLAR.
- Mark and overcast the buttonholes on the upper COLLAR for the cord.
- Fold the lower COLLAR to the wrong side. From the right side of the COLLAR, stitch a channel for the cord.
- Set the COLLAR into the neckline.
- Thread the cord through the COLLAR.
- Overcast the bottom edge of the garment.
- Fold and topstitch the bottom edge of the garment.
