CUTTER'S MUST

  • From main fabric:
  • 1. FRONT PANEL - 2 QTY
  • 2. BACK PANEL – 1 QTY
  • 3. COLLAR – 2 QTY
  • 4. COLLAR STAND – 2 QTY
  • 5. SLEEVE - 2 QTY
  • 6. CUFF – 2 QTY
  • FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING: placket, upper COLLAR, COLLAR STAND, CUFF.

Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the placket, upper COLLAR, COLLAR STAND, and CUFF.
  2. Stitch darts on the FRONT PANEL, stitch waist darts on the BACK PANEL.
  3. Stitch the shoulder seams of the blouse.
  4. Serge the SLEEVE edges separately up to the slash markings.
  5. Set in the SLEEVES, easing the cap.
  6. Stitch the SLEEVE seams and the side seams of the blouse in one continuous seam.
  7. Serge the inner edge of each placket.
  8. Understitch the lower COLLAR with the upper COLLAR, turn the COLLAR right side out.
  9. Stitch the COLLAR STANDS, inserting the COLLAR between them.
  10. Attach the lower COLLAR STAND with the COLLAR to the neckline, turn under the raw edge of the upper COLLAR STAND and topstitch it into the seam of the lower COLLAR STAND. Topstitch along the COLLAR.
  11. Understitch the side edges of the CUFF and turn it right side out.
  12. Attach the upper one-piece CUFF to the lower edge of the SLEEVE, and topstitch the lower one-piece CUFF.
  13. Topstitch along the side and lower edges of the CUFF.
  14. Hem and topstitch the bottom of the garment.
  15. On the right FRONT PANEL, make buttonholes, and on the left FRONT PANEL, sew on buttons.
