Collared Blouse with Front Zipper

CUTTER'S MUST

• From main fabric:
1. FRONT PANEL - 2 QTY
2. BACK PANEL – 1 QTY
3. FACING - 2 QTY
4. SLEEVE - 2 QTY
5. CUFF - 2 QTY
6. COLLAR – 2 QTY
7. Collar Stand – 2 QTY
• FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING: FACING, upper COLLAR, CUFF, Collar Stand.

Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the FACING, upper COLLAR, CUFF, and collar stand.
2. Stitch bust darts and waist darts on the FRONT PANEL, stitch waist darts on the BACK PANEL.
3. Attach the ZIPPER to the FRONT PANELS.
4. Serge the inner edge of each FACING. Face the FRONT PANEL with the FACING.
5. Turn the FACING to the wrong side and fold under. Baste the edge of the front opening, press, and topstitch.
6. Topstitch along the ZIPPER attachment seam.
7. Stitch the shoulder seams of the blouse.
8. Stitch the side seams of the blouse.
9. Face the lower COLLAR with the upper COLLAR, turn the COLLAR right side out.
10. Stitch the collar stands, inserting the COLLAR between them.
11. Attach the lower collar stand with the COLLAR to the neckline, fold under the open edge of the upper collar stand and topstitch into the seam of the lower collar stand attachment. Topstitch along the COLLAR. Secure the FACINGS to the shoulder seams with a 1 cm bar tack.
12. Stitch the SLEEVE seams.
13. Fold the CUFFS right sides together, stitch the short sides into a loop, clip the SEAM ALLOWANCE at the slit, leaving a slit in the middle of the seam. Fold the CUFFS in half right sides together, stitch the edges of the slit.
14. Attach the CUFFS to the bottom of the SLEEVE and serge the upper edge of the CUFF together with the SLEEVE.
15. Topstitch the CUFF attachment seam to the SLEEVE, topstitch along the bottom of the CUFF and the edge of the slits.
16. Set in the SLEEVES, easing the cap.
17. Hem and topstitch the bottom of the garment.
