Sewing Instructions
- Stitch the center back seam, side seams, and princess seams, leaving the slits unstitched. Press the center back seam to the left, the side seams towards the back, and press the princess seams open.
- Place the front facing and center front right sides together and stitch with a 0.5 cm seam allowance. Turn the facing to the wrong side, wrapping it around the edge. Turn under the remaining seam allowance and topstitch from the right side in the facing attachment seam.
- Stitch the armhole facing pieces together. Place the facing and upper edge of the chemise right sides together, aligning the facing seam with the center back seam, and stitch with a 0.5 cm seam allowance. Turn the facing to the wrong side, wrapping it around the edge. Turn under the remaining seam allowance and topstitch from the right side in the attachment seam, continuing to stitch the longitudinal edges of the facing together beyond the garment to form the shoulder straps.
- Press the slit seam allowances to the wrong side and topstitch 0.1 cm from the edge. Press the hem allowance to the wrong side, turn the raw edge under, and topstitch.
- Fold each loop in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch along the long edge. Turn right side out, baste, and press. Sew the loops to the upper edge of the back according to the pattern markings.
- Try on the chemise, thread the shoulder straps through the back loops, adjust them to the required length, and secure.
