Fabric recommendations: low-stretch knit fabric made from natural or blended fibers in matching or contrasting colors.

CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THEY INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: Hem allowance – 2.0 cm. Other allowances – 0.7 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (don't forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

• From main fabric 1:
  • Center back part - 2 pieces
  • Center front part – 1 piece on fold
  • Sleeve - 2 pieces
• From main fabric 2:
  • Side back part - 2 pieces
  • Side front part – 2 pieces
  • Facing — 2 pieces
  • Cuff – 2 pieces

Note: Knit fabric pieces in this model are stitched on a straight stitch machine. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle or on a coverstitch machine to maintain elasticity.

Sewing Instructions

1. Stitch the princess seams of the back and front, press allowances towards the center and overcast.
2. Stitch the center back seam, press allowances to the left side and overcast.
3. Attach the sleeve to the back, press allowances towards the sleeve and overcast. Attach the sleeve to the front, press allowances towards the sleeve and overcast.
4. Stitch the side seam simultaneously with the sleeve seam, press allowances and overcast.
5. Stitch the cuff into a loop, press allowances open. Fold the cuff lengthwise in half, right side out, and attach to the bottom of the sleeve, overcast allowances.
6. Stitch each facing into a loop, press allowances open. Place facings right sides together and stitch the neckline edge. Clip allowances at the curve, turn the piece right side out, straighten, press. Attach the facing to the neckline, press allowances and overcast.
7. Overcast the hem allowance of the garment, press to the wrong side and topstitch. ATTENTION! Before finishing the upper edge of the garment with the facing, make sure the head passes through the neckline opening. Otherwise, it is recommended to create a closure: stitch the center back seam, stopping 5 – 6 cm before the neckline edge; create a loop; stitch the neckline edge and the ends of the facing, inserting the loop; attach the facing to the upper edge; sew on a button.
