Fabric & Materials
Fabric recommendations: dress fabrics made of natural or blended fibers. Also needed: fusible interfacing; 1 button. For finishing: LACE TRIM 1.5-2 cm wide is needed to cover seams. Also, SATIN BIAS BINDING is needed for the "BONING".
CUTTER'S MUST
IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THEY INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm; hem allowance for the dress bottom – 2.0 cm; hem allowance for the sleeve bottom – 1.2 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). ATTENTION! MARKINGS ON THE PATTERNS ARE MADE ON THE RIGHT SIDE.

Sewing Instructions
WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!
- Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
- Fold the belt piece right sides together and stitch along the long side and one short side. Trim the seam allowance at the corners, turn the belt right side out and press.
- Stitch and overcast the center back seams. Press the seam allowance to the left side.
- Stitch the side seams of the front and back side panels, inserting the belt piece into the left side seam. Overcast the seam allowances and press towards the back. Along the upper edge of the lower side part, stitch with a loosened upper thread and gather or create arbitrary pleats. Stitch the upper and lower side parts. Overcast the seam allowance and press upwards.
- Stitch the back princess seams. Overcast the seam allowances and press towards the center.
- Stitch the front princess seams. Overcast the seam allowances and press towards the center.
- Stitch the shoulder seams, press the seam allowances towards the back and overcast.
- Stitch the shoulder seams of the facing and front facing, press the seam allowances open. Overcast the outer edge. Place the facing and front facing on the right side of the dress and stitch along the front edge and neckline, inserting the second side of the belt. Trim the seam allowances, clip the seam allowances at the corners, turn the facing and front facing to the wrong side and press.
- Overcast the lower edge of the sleeve. Fold the allowance inwards and topstitch. Set the sleeves into the armholes. Overcast the seam allowances.
- Cut a bias binding 4 cm wide and a length equal to the length of the lower armhole part + 6 cm. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise right side out and press. Place the binding with the armhole edge right sides together and stitch. Fold the binding to the wrong side, clip the seams, and topstitch along the fold to the main piece. Press the seam.
- Overcast the hem allowance of the dress, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
- On the left front facing, overcast a buttonhole. Sew on a hidden button.
