Level Of Difficulty

Intermediate. This pattern requires familiarity with knit fabrics, including handling stretch materials, attaching neckbands, and maintaining seam elasticity.

Fabric Recommendations

Choose knit fabrics with moderate stretch:

  • Cotton jersey
  • Viscose jersey
  • Blended knit fabrics with elastane

These materials ensure comfort, flexibility, and proper recovery of the garment shape.

Additional Supplies

No additional notions required beyond thread suitable for stretch fabrics.

Cutter’s Must

From Main Fabric:

  1. Back – 1 piece
  2. Front – 1 piece
  3. Sleeve – 2 pieces
  4. Placket – 1 piece

Note: Garment pieces cut from knit fabrics are stitched using a special stretch stitch or a narrow zigzag stitch. When overlocking, trim seam allowances to 0.6–0.8 cm. Hem allowances are topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity.

Important Information

Before cutting your fabric:

  • Print and lay out pattern pieces to determine yardage.
  • Check mirrored pieces, notches, and grainlines.
  • For patterned fabrics, align carefully for symmetry.
