Introducing an elegant women's dress pattern featuring a sophisticated pleated neckline and a beautifully ruched detail on the front skirt.
This versatile dress is perfect for a variety of occasions, offering both style and comfort:
Silhouette: a fitted sheath silhouette, designed to flatter the figure.
Neckline: a classic round neckline adorned with delicate pleats on the front bodice.
Sleeves: Short, cap sleeves providing elegant shoulder coverage.
Waist: Defined by a horizontal seam, separating the bodice from the skirt, ensuring a tailored fit.
Skirt: The front skirt features flattering ruching, creating graceful folds and shaping.
Back: a clean back design with shaping darts and a center back seam incorporating a concealed zipper.
Length: Designed to hit at or just above the knee for a classic, refined look.
Closure: a discreet invisible zipper thoughtfully placed in the center back seam.
Intermediate. Requires experience with pleating, setting in sleeves, and invisible zipper installation.
Choose dress fabrics with a slight stretch for comfort and a beautiful drape:
If the patterns have a double contour, they include seam allowances. If the contour is single, the patterns do not include seam allowances. Seam allowances: all seams 1 cm; hem allowance for the dress bottom – 2.5 cm; hem allowance for the sleeve bottom – 1.2 cm. Attention! First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) to determine how much material you will need (don't forget to account for paired and symmetrical details).
When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match! Note: Markings on patterns are made on the right side.
