- From main fabric:
- BACK PANEL (center) - 2 QTY
- BACK PANEL (side) - 2 QTY
- FRONT PANEL (side) – 2 QTY
- FRONT PANEL (center) – 1 QTY
- FRONT PANEL FACING — 2 QTY
- BACK PANEL FACING — 2 QTY
- CUFF – 2 QTY
- From transparent fabric:
- FRONT PANEL YOKE - 1 QTY
- SLEEVE - 2 QTY
Attention: Cut pieces from knit fabrics are sewn with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity. Alternatively, pieces can be sewn directly on a 3- or 4-thread overlocker.
Sewing Instructions
- Stitch the princess seams of the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the center and overcast.
- Stitch and overcast the center seam of the BACK PANEL. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES to the left side.
- Along the upper edge of the FRONT PANEL YOKE, sew a row of stitches with loosely tensioned threads and gather. Attach the FRONT PANEL YOKE to the SLEEVE, press SEAM ALLOWANCES and overcast.
- Face the FRONT PANEL FACINGS along the neckline edge, turn right side out, and press. Attach the BACK PANEL FACINGS to the FRONT PANEL FACING, press in half, and attach to the neckline.
- Attach the FRONT PANEL YOKE to the FRONT PANEL, press SEAM ALLOWANCES and overcast. Attach the SLEEVE to the BACK PANEL, press SEAM ALLOWANCES and overcast.
- Stitch the side seams simultaneously with the SLEEVE seams.
- Stitch the CUFF into a loop. Fold lengthwise in half and attach to the bottom of the SLEEVE. Overcast the SEAM ALLOWANCE.
- Overcast the hem allowance of the dress, press to the wrong side, and topstitch.
