  • Back Yoke – 1 qty
  • Front Yoke – 1 qty

Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse fusible interfacing to the outer yokes. Fuse fusible interfacing to the upper edge of the flounce to prevent stretching. Serge the upper, outer, and lower edges of the flounce. Fold seam allowances inwards and topstitch.
  2. Attach the yokes to the front and back panels. Press seam allowances open.
  3. Serge the center edges of the back separately on each piece. Stitch the center seam from the lower edge to the zipper mark. Press seam allowances open. Insert the zipper.
  4. Place the flounce right side up onto the right side of the front and secure along the side seam. Stitch the side edges. Serge seam allowances and press towards the back.
  5. Stitch the side edges of the inner yokes. Press seam allowances open. Serge the lower edge of the yokes. Place the inner yoke with the outer yoke, right sides together, and stitch the upper edge. Clip the seam allowance. Topstitch the seam allowances to the inner yoke 0.1 cm from the stitching line. Fold the inner yoke to the wrong side and press. Topstitch the inner yoke into the seam of the upper yoke attachment. Secure the center edge of the yoke to the zipper tape with hand stitches.
  6. Cut the waistband into two equal parts. Fold the waistband right sides together and stitch along two long sides and one short side. Trim seam allowances at the corners and turn right side out. Press the waistband. Topstitch the waistband to the skirt and upper according to the marks.
  7. Serge the lower edge of the skirt, press to the wrong side, and topstitch.
