This versatile tunic is perfect for everyday comfort and casual styling, making it an excellent choice for:

  • Casual Daily Wear: Its comfortable knit fabric and relaxed fit make it perfect for everyday activities.
  • Leisure & Loungewear: Ideal for relaxed weekends, at-home comfort, or light errands.
  • Travel & Errands: Practical pockets and an adjustable waist offer convenience and style on the go.

Key Design Features

Silhouette: a relaxed, straight-cut tunic silhouette, adjustable at the waist for a customizable fit.

Neckline: a soft, draped cowl neck that offers comfort and a stylish focal point.

Sleeves: Full-length, set-in sleeves for a classic and comfortable fit.

Pockets: Two prominent patch pockets on the front, each detailed with a decorative button.

Waist: An adjustable drawstring waist, cinched with a fabric tie threaded through a casing for shape and definition.

Length: Tunic length, designed to extend over the hips for versatile layering and coverage.

Level Of Difficulty

Intermediate. Involves working with knit fabrics, constructing a draped cowl neck, creating patch pockets with buttonholes, and assembling a drawstring waist.

Fabric Recommendations

Achieve the perfect drape and comfort with medium-stretch knit fabrics:

  • Low to medium stretch knit fabrics made from natural fibers (e.g., cotton jersey, bamboo knit)
  • Low to medium stretch knit fabrics made from blended fibers (e.g., cotton-poly blends, rayon blends)

Additional Supplies

  • 2 buttons

Cutter's Must

  • Back – 1 qty on fold
  • Front — 1 qty on fold
  • Sleeve – 2 qty
  • Collar – 1 qty
  • Pocket - 2 qty
  • Drawstring Casing - 1 qty

Tip: Cut pieces from knit fabrics should be sewn with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle or on a coverstitch machine to maintain elasticity. You can also sew the pieces directly on a 3- or 4-thread overlock machine.
