CUTTER'S MUST

• From main fabric:
1. Left FRONT PANEL - QTY 1
2. Right FRONT PANEL - QTY 1
3. Center BACK PANEL - QTY 2
4. Side BACK PANEL - QTY 2
5. BACK FACING – QTY 2
6. FRONT FACING – QTY 1
7. FLOUNCE – QTY 1
• From fusible interfacing:
1. BACK FACING – QTY 2
2. FRONT FACING – QTY 1

Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse fusible interfacing to the BACK FACING and FRONT FACING.
2. On the left center BACK PANEL, cut 5 cm along the vertical slit edge. On both center BACK PANEL pieces, fuse the slit from the wrong side. On the right side, mark the center seam line (slit fold line). Press the left part along the slit fold line, and on the right part, press only the right slit SEAM ALLOWANCE (6 cm) to the wrong side. Align the pieces along the center seam and secure at the upper slit edge. Overlock the center back edge separately on each piece. Overlock the slit SEAM ALLOWANCES. Stitch the center back edge from the ZIPPER NOTCHES to the slit corner. Clip the slit seam allowance corner on the right part. Press open the center seam SEAM ALLOWANCES, press the slit SEAM ALLOWANCES and secure them with machine stitching. Insert the ZIPPER from the upper edge to the NOTCHES.
3. Overlock the outer edge of the FLOUNCE with a narrow rolled hem.
4. On the right FRONT PANEL, create and secure pleats along the contoured edge (depths directed downwards).
5. Stitch the left shoulder edge separately on the center and side BACK PANELs and FRONT PANELs. Press open the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
6. Stitch the left contoured edge of the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL in one seam, inserting the FLOUNCE between the pieces. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the center, overlock.
7. Stitch the right contoured edge of the BACK PANEL, press the SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the center and overlock. Stitch the right shoulder edge, press open the SEAM ALLOWANCES. Stitch the side edges, press the SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the back, overlock.
8. Stitch the shoulder and side edges of the FACINGS. Press open the SEAM ALLOWANCES. Overlock the center and outer edges of the FACING. Place the dress and FACING right sides together and stitch the neckline. Clip the SEAM ALLOWANCES at the curves, turn out the FACING, straighten and press. Stitch the armhole in two steps: first the back, then the front. Clip the SEAM ALLOWANCES at the curves, turn out, press. Secure the FACING to the garment at the side SEAM ALLOWANCES. Attach the FACING to the ZIPPER tape.
9. Overlock the bottom edge of the garment. Fold to the wrong side, press and hem with blind stitches.
