Sewing Instructions
ATTENTION! Before starting, check that the head can pass through the collar stitched into a ring. Tip: Cut pieces from knit fabrics are stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim seam allowances to 0.6 – 0.8 cm. The hem allowance is stitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity. WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!
- Stitch the shoulder and side seams of the back and front. Serge the seams and press them towards the back.
- Stitch the sleeve seams. Serge the seams and press.
- Set the sleeves into the armholes, matching the notches. Serge the seams and press.
- Serge the bottom edge of the garment and the bottom edge of the sleeve. Fold to the wrong side, press, and stitch.
- Stitch the collar into a ring. Turn the collar right side out and press. Fold the collar in half, wrong sides together. Attach the collar to the neckline, matching the notches. The collar seam is located at the left shoulder seam. Serge and press the collar attachment seam.
