Fabric & Materials
Fabric recommendations: lightweight fabrics with a border print from natural or blended fibers. Also needed: a strip of lace trim 1.0 – 1.5 cm wide (approximate length indicated on patterns).
CUTTER'S MUST
IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE NOT INCLUDED. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm. Seam allowance at the bottom and outer edges of the back and front facings – 0 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (don't forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces).

- Front – 1 piece
- Placket – 2 pieces
- Back neckline facing – 1 piece
- Front neckline facing – 1 piece
Sewing Instructions
WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!
- Stitch shoulder seams. Press seam allowances towards the back and overcast.
- Stitch shoulder seams of facings, press seam allowances open. Overcast outer edge.
- Place facing and neckline right sides together and stitch neckline edge. Clip seam allowances, turn facing to the wrong side and topstitch along the inner edge to the main garment.
- Overcast side edges, press to the wrong side and topstitch. Topstitch trim along side edges.
- Overcast and cut two buttonholes on the front for the tie. Press short edges of the placket to the wrong side and topstitch. Press long edges of the placket to the wrong side. Place the placket from the wrong side onto the front and back according to markings and topstitch 0.1 cm from the fold.
- Cut a tie of the required length (approximately, waist circumference + 1.0 m) and 4 cm width. Press the tie in half lengthwise, right side out. Then unfold and press long edges towards the marked center line. Fold short seam allowances inwards and topstitch the tie 0.1 cm from the edge. Thread the tie through the plackets.
