- Back – 1 piece
- Front – 1 piece
- Front placket – 2 pieces
Sewing Instructions
Tip: Knit fabric pieces are stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim seam allowances to 0.8 cm. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity. You can also stitch pieces directly on a 3- or 4-thread overlocker.
- Serge the upper edge of the front, press to the wrong side and topstitch. Form and secure the pleats according to the markings.
- Attach the front to the plackets, clip the seam allowances at the notch, press towards the placket and serge.
- Stitch the side and shoulder seams, press the seam allowances towards the back and serge.
- Serge the bottom edge of the garment, the armhole edges, the back neckline edge, and the raw edge of the front placket. Fold to the wrong side, press and topstitch.
