CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE NOT INCLUDED. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm. Seam allowance along the upper edge of the pocket – 4 cm. Seam allowance at the bottom of the garment and sleeve hem – 3.0 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces).

  • Back – 1 piece with fold
  • Front – 2 pieces
  • Sleeve – 2 pieces
  • Front facing – 2 pieces
  • Back neckline facing – 1 piece
  • Pocket – 2 pieces
• From fusible interfacing:
  • Front facing – 2 pieces
  • Back neckline facing – 1 piece

Sewing Instructions

WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

1. Interface the pieces with fusible interfacing.
2. Interface the seam allowance of the upper edge of the pocket with fusible interfacing, serge, press to the wrong side and topstitch. Serge the side and bottom edges of the pocket, press to the wrong side. Place the pocket on the front and topstitch.
3. Stitch the shoulder seams of the back and front, clipping the allowances at the corners, press towards the back and serge. Stitch the collar seam, press allowances open. Set the collar into the neckline, press allowances towards the collar.
4. Stitch the shoulder seams of the front facings and back neckline facing, clipping the allowances at the corners, press allowances open. Stitch the collar seam, press allowances open. Set the collar into the neckline, press allowances towards the collar. Serge the outer edge.
5. Place the front facings on the front, right sides together, and stitch the collar edge, front edge, and bottom edge. Clip allowances at curves, trim at corners. Turn the front facings to the wrong side, straighten, and press. Secure the collar attachment allowances together.
6. Set the sleeves into the open armholes according to the notches, press allowances and serge. Stitch the side seams simultaneously with the sleeve seams, press allowances towards the back and serge.
7. Serge the bottom edge of the garment and sleeve, press to the wrong side and topstitch. If necessary, the robe can be worn with a belt.
