CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS ARE WITHOUT SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm. Hem allowance – 2.0 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces).

• From main fabric:
  • Upper back part – 1 piece with fold
  • Lower back part - 1 piece with fold
  • Lower front part – 2 pieces
  • Upper front part – 2 pieces
  • Sleeve – 2 pieces
  • Cuff – 2 pieces
  • Back neckline facing – 1 piece
  • Front neckline facing – 2 pieces
  • Belt – 1 piece
• From fusible interlining:
  • Back neckline facing – 1 piece
  • Front neckline facing – 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

1. Interface the facing pieces with fusible interlining. Also interface the one-piece front placket of the lower front part.
2. Stitch shoulder seams, press allowances towards the back and serge.
3. Stitch shoulder seams of neckline facings, press allowances open. Serge the outer edge. Place the facing with the garment right sides together and stitch the neckline edge of the front and back. Turn the facing to the wrong side, straighten, press. Secure the facing to the main garment at the shoulder seams.
4. Along the lower edge of the upper back part, stitch with loosened upper thread and gather. Stitch the upper and lower back parts, press allowances upwards and serge.
5. Along the lower edge of the upper front part, stitch with loosened upper thread and gather. Stitch the upper and lower front parts, wrapping the upper part with the one-piece front placket. Press allowances upwards and serge. Turn the placket to the wrong side.
6. Stitch side seams, press allowances towards the back and serge.
7. Stitch sleeve seam, press allowances towards the back and serge. Along the sleeve cap, stitch with loosened upper thread and gather. Set sleeves into armholes, matching notches, press allowances and serge.
8. Stitch cuff into a loop, press allowances open. Fold cuff in half lengthwise right side out and press. Along the lower edge of the sleeve, stitch with loosened upper thread and gather. Stitch the outer side of the cuff to the sleeve, fold the allowance of the inner cuff inwards and stitch into the seam of the upper cuff attachment.
9. Serge the lower edge of the garment, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
10. On the right front, serge buttonholes. Sew buttons on the left front.
11. Fold the belt in half lengthwise right sides together and stitch, leaving an opening on the long side for turning. Turn the belt right side out, straighten and press. Topstitch around the perimeter 0.1 cm from the edge.
