FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS: blouse fabrics made of natural or blended fibers. Silk, chiffon. YOU WILL ALSO NEED: 1 invisible zipper.

CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THE PATTERNS INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES; IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS ARE WITHOUT SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: Hem allowance – 1.5 cm, all other seams 1 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST OF ALL, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces).

• From main fabric:
  • Back - 2 pieces
  • Back overlay - 2 pieces
  • Front - 1 piece on fold
  • Front overlay - 1 piece on fold
  • Front overlay facing — 1 piece on fold
  • Back overlay facing — 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

1. Stitch darts on the front. Press dart depths upwards.
2. Stitch shoulder seams of main pieces. Overlock allowances and press towards the back.
3. Cut (if not ready-made) a bias binding 4 cm wide and a length equal to the armhole length + 5cm. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the binding with the armhole edge, right sides together, and stitch. Clip allowances. Fold the binding to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold onto the main piece. Press the seam.
4. Stitch side seams of main pieces. Overlock allowances and press towards the back.
5. Stitch shoulder seams of the overlay. Overlock allowances and press towards the back. Stitch side seams of the overlay facings. Press allowances open. Place facings and overlay right sides together and stitch the lower edge. Clip allowances at curves. Turn the facing to the wrong side, turn under the allowance, and topstitch.
6. Secure the overlay and the main garment at the neckline edges and the center back seam. Then treat as one piece.
7. Cut (if not ready-made) a bias binding 4 cm wide and a length equal to the neckline length + 5cm. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the binding with the neckline edge, right sides together, and stitch. Clip allowances. Fold the binding to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold onto the main piece. Press the seam.
8. Overlock center back edges separately, press allowance open. Stitch the center back seam from the zipper mark to the hem. Insert the invisible zipper.
9. Overlock the hem allowance, fold to the wrong side, and topstitch.
