Crepe Tailored Jacket with Velour Collar

Pattern #2020
Tech. Description

Fabric & Materials

Fabric recommendations: crepe (main fabric), satin (matching the crepe), velour (matching the crepe). Also needed: fusible interfacing, 2 buttons.

CUTTER'S MUST

If the patterns have a double contour, they include SEAM ALLOWANCES. If the contour is single, the patterns do not include SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: All seams - 1 cm. ATTENTION! First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) to determine how much material you will need (don't forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). According to the designer's intention, the lining is made of satin and exactly repeats the contour of the upper patterns. The lining piece for the central right front part is cut according to the left part pattern, i.e., without pleats. The inner parts of the front and back collar (undercollars), as well as the inner cuff pieces, are cut from satin.

  • From crepe:
    • Central back part - 2 pieces
    • Side back part - 2 pieces
    • Central front left part - 1 piece
    • Central front right part - 1 piece
    • Side front part - 2 pieces
    • Front collar part – 2 pieces
    • Back collar part – 1 piece
    • Front sleeve part – 2 pieces
    • Back sleeve part – 2 pieces
  • From velour:
    • Cuff – 2 pieces
    • Velour collar – 2 pieces
  • From fusible interfacing:
    • Central and side back parts
    • Side front parts
    • Front and back collar parts
    • Outer cuffs
