Cutter's Must
- From main fabric:
- 1. Center back – 2 qty
- 2. Side back – 2 qty
- 3. Side front – 2 qty
- 4. Center front – 1 qty
- 5. Front facing – 1 qty
- 6. Back facing – 2 qty
- From fusible interfacing: front facing, back facing.
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse fusible interfacing to the front facing and back facing.
- Stitch the princess seams on the front. Overlock seam allowances and press towards the center of the front.
- Stitch the princess seams on the back. Overlock seam allowances and press towards the center of the back.
- Overlock the center back seam. Stitch the center back seam from the zipper notches downwards. Press open the center back seam, press the zipper opening. Insert the zipper.
- Stitch the side and shoulder seams. Overlock seam allowances and press towards the back.
- Stitch the shoulder and side seams of the front facing and back facing, press seam allowances open. Overlock the outer edge of the facings. Place the facing pieces right sides together with the garment and stitch the neckline of the front and back. Stitch the armhole in two steps: first the back armhole, then the front armhole. Topstitch the seam allowance to the facing at a distance of 0.2 cm from the seam. Turn the facing to the wrong side and press. Attach the center seam of the facing to the zipper seam allowance.
- Fold the bottom edge by 1 cm, then by another 2 cm and topstitch.
