Important Information

First of all, print the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width may be from 90 cm to 150 cm) in order to determine how much material you will need (do not forget to consider paired and symmetrical pieces).

When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches – they must match.

Assembly Instructions

  1. Fuse interfacing to relevant pieces.
  2. Stitch bust darts, press depths upwards.
  3. Press longitudinal placket allowances to the wrong side and press. Place the placket on the front right side up and topstitch.
  4. Stitch side and shoulder seams, press allowances towards the back and serge.
  5. Place the upper collar with the lower collar right sides together, stitch the ends and the outer edge of the collar. Trim seams, turn the collar right side out, straighten and press. Attach the upper collar to the neckline, turn under the open edge of the lower collar and topstitch into the seam of the upper collar attachment.
  6. Stitch the sleeve seam, press allowances towards the back and serge. Along the upper edge, make a basting stitch with loosened upper thread and gather. Set sleeves into armholes, press allowances and serge.
  7. Stitch the sleeve ruffle piece into a loop, press allowances open. Fold the ruffle in half lengthwise wrong sides together and press. Along the upper edge, make a basting stitch with loosened upper thread and gather. Attach the ruffle to the sleeve. Serge the allowance, press upwards and topstitch 0.5 cm from the seam.
