CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS ARE WITHOUT SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: Hem allowance for the garment and sleeves – 2 cm, other allowances - 1.0 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED. WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

  • From main fabric:
    • Back – 1 piece on fold
    • Front – 1 piece on fold
    • Sleeve – 2 pieces
    • Collar – 2 pieces

Tip: Knit fabric pieces are stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle or on a coverstitch machine to maintain elasticity. You can also stitch pieces directly on a 3- or 4-thread overlocker.

Sewing Instructions

  1. Stitch shoulder seams. Overlock allowances and press towards the back.
  2. Fold collars right sides together and stitch the outer edge. Turn collars right side out and press. Overlap the right lower part of the collar onto the left and secure along the lower edges. Attach the collar to the neckline, clipping the allowance at the corner. Overlock allowances and press towards the main garment.
  3. Stitch side seams, press allowances towards the back and overlock.
  4. Stitch sleeve seam, press allowances and overlock. Set sleeves into armholes, press allowances and overlock.
  5. Overlock the bottom edge of the garment and sleeves, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
