CUTTER'S MUST
- From main fabric:
- 1. BACK PANEL – 2 QTY
- 2. Upper FRONT PANEL - 2 QTY
- 3. Lower FRONT PANEL – 2 QTY
- 3. SLEEVE - 2 QTY
- FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING: One-piece plackets on the lower FRONT PANELS.
Sewing Instructions
- Reinforce the one-piece plackets on the lower FRONT PANELS with FUSIBLE INTERFACING.
- Stitch the darts on the BACK PANEL. Press the dart fullness towards the center back. Stitch the center back seam. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES to the left side and serge.
- Along the lower edge of the upper FRONT PANEL, stitch between the NOTCHES with a loosely tensioned thread and gather. Place the upper and lower FRONT PANELS right sides together and stitch, clipping into the corners. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- Stitch the center seam of the one-piece COLLAR. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCE and press to the left side. Stitch the shoulder seams. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES and press towards the BACK PANEL. Attach the COLLAR to the neckline of the BACK PANEL. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES. Stitch the side seams of the blouse. Press the seams towards the BACK PANEL and serge.
- Turn the one-piece plackets to the wrong side, fold under the SEAM ALLOWANCE, and topstitch.
- Stitch the SLEEVE seam. Serge the SLEEVE cap with a narrow rolled hem between the round NOTCHES. Along the SLEEVE cap, stitch with loosely tensioned threads and gather. Clip the SLEEVE cap SEAM ALLOWANCE at the round NOTCHES. Attach the lower part of the SLEEVE to the armhole. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES. Serge the upper part of the armhole on the blouse. Place the upper part of the SLEEVE onto the blouse and topstitch. Serge the bottom of the SLEEVE. Fold the SEAM ALLOWANCE inwards and topstitch.
- Serge the bottom of the garment, press to the wrong side, and topstitch. On the FRONT PANEL, serge the buttonholes and sew on the buttons.
