- SLEEVE – 2 QTY
Tip: Cut pieces from knit fabrics are stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim SEAM ALLOWANCES to 0.6 – 0.8 cm. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity.
Sewing Instructions
- Stitch the side edges of the lower BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL. Fold the pieces in half lengthwise, right side out. Then treat the pieces as single layers.
- Attach the BACK PANEL to the FRONT PANEL and the lower BACK PANEL. Serge the seams and press them towards the BACK PANEL.
- Stitch the SLEEVE edge. Serge and press towards the back of the SLEEVE. Serge the lower edge of the SLEEVE. Fold to the wrong side, press, and topstitch.
- Set the SLEEVES into the armholes. Serge the edge and press towards the SLEEVE.
