Eight-Gore Skirt Flared from the Knee

CUTTER'S MUST

• From main fabric:
1. Center panel - 4 QTY
2. Side panel - 4 QTY
3. Waistband – 1 QTY
• FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING:
1. Waistband – 1 QTY

Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse the waistband with fusible interfacing.
2. Stitch the center FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL pieces. Overlock the seams and press them to the left. Stitch the relief seams on the FRONT SKIRT HALF and BACK SKIRT HALF, overlock and press them towards the center.
3. Stitch the right side seam. Overlock the seam and press it open. Stitch the left side seam up to the zipper mark. Overlock and press open the SEAM ALLOWANCES. Insert the ZIPPER.
4. Attach the waistband to the upper edge of the skirt. Finish the ends of the waistband, trim the SEAM ALLOWANCES at the corners and turn out. Fold under the inner edge of the waistband and topstitch into the attaching seam. Press the waistband into its finished shape.
5. Overlock the hem allowance, press it to the wrong side and topstitch.
6. Mark and overlock the buttonhole. Sew on the button.
