- Gore - 8 QTY
- Waistband – 1 QTY
- FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING:
- Waistband – 1 QTY
ATTENTION! Skirt pieces are cut without symmetry. Either all right pieces or all left pieces, depending on the direction of the pleats. Symmetrical pieces are NOT ALLOWED!
Sewing Instructions
- Reinforce the waistband with fusible interfacing.
- Stitch the relief seams of the skirt, leaving an opening for the zipper in one of the seams. The straight edge of one gore and the bias edge of another gore are stitched together. Overcast the seams and press them towards the bias edge. Insert the zipper.
- Attach the waistband to the upper edge of the skirt. Finish the ends of the waistband, trim the seam allowances at the corners, and turn out. Fold under the inner edge of the waistband and topstitch into the attaching seam. Press the waistband when finished.
- Overcast the hem allowance, press it to the wrong side, and topstitch.
- Mark and overcast the buttonhole. Sew on the button.
