Cutter's Must
- From main fabric:
- Back – 2 pieces
- Front – 1 piece (cut on fold)
- Sleeve – 2 pieces
- Waistband (tie belt) – 1 piece

- Front – 1 piece (cut on fold)
- Sleeve – 2 pieces
Sewing Instructions
- On the front and back, fold and press the neckline darts, with the dart depths directed towards the armhole. Stitch each dart for 3 cm from the point. On the wrong side, stitch along the inner fold of each dart 0.5 cm from the fold. Baste the darts at the neckline edge. Stitch the waist darts on the back and press them towards the center.
- Stitch the side seams. Press the seams towards the back and serge. Stitch the sleeves to the front and back. Press the seams towards the sleeves.
- Serge the center back edges. Insert the zipper from the top edge to the notch. Fold the lower end of the zipper out of the way and stitch the center back seam from the notch downwards. Press the seam allowances open.
- Assemble the lining pieces in the same way as the main fabric pieces.
- Place the dress and the lining right sides together, aligning the neckline edges. Stopping 5 mm short of the zipper edges, fold back the lining and pin it to the upper edge of the dress. On the right side of the dress, fold the seam allowances along the zipper back over the lining and pin them to the neckline edge. Stitch the neckline. Clip the allowances on the curves, turn the lining to the inside and press. Fold the allowances along the zipper to the wrong side. Attach the back lining to the zipper tape and to the center back seam below it. Press.
- Stitch the lining to the lower edge of each sleeve and the underarm edge of the armhole, clipping the allowance at the sleeve seam. Clip the allowances on the curves, turn the dress right side out and press.
- Serge the hem allowance of the dress, press it to the wrong side and topstitch.
- Serge the hem allowance of the lining, press it to the wrong side and topstitch.
- Fold the Waistband (tie belt) in half lengthwise, right sides together. Stitch on three sides, leaving a small opening for turning. Turn the belt right side out. Close the opening with blind stitches and press.
