Sewing Instructions
- Fuse the upper collar. Place collar pieces right sides together and stitch along the ends and outer edge. Clip seam allowances at curves, turn the collar right side out, and press.
- Stitch the dart on the back. Press dart depths towards the center. Stitch the center back seam. Serge and press to the left side.
- Stitch shoulder and side seams. Serge seams and press towards the back.
- Stitch shoulder seams of the facing and back neckline facing. Press seams open. Stitch side seams of the facings and back hem facing. Press seams open. Serge the inner edge of the facing, back neckline facing, and back hem facing.
- Place the bolero and facings right sides together. Stitch the front edge, bottom edge, and neckline edge, inserting the collar. Turn right side out, shape, and press. Secure the back facings at the side and shoulder seams.
- Stitch the sleeve seams. Serge and press towards the back. Set the sleeves into the armholes. Serge the seam.
- Serge the sleeve hem. Fold the seam allowance inwards and topstitch.
