- 1. BACK SKIRT HALF - 1 QTY
- 2. FRONT SKIRT HALF - 1 QTY
- 3. Loop - 2 QTY
- 4. Tie - 2 QTY
Sewing Instructions
- Stitch darts on the BACK SKIRT HALF. Press darts towards the center of the piece.
- On the right side of the FRONT SKIRT HALF, lay and stitch the pleats. Press pleats downwards.
- Fold the ties in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch along the long and short sides. Turn right side out, baste, and press. Topstitch the ties 0.1 cm from the edge.
- Stitch the side SEAM ALLOWANCES of the skirt, inserting the ties. Press seams towards the BACK PANEL and overcast.
- Press the upper SEAM ALLOWANCE of the skirt to the wrong side, fold, and topstitch.
- Press the hem SEAM ALLOWANCE of the skirt to the wrong side, fold, and topstitch.
- Overcast the edges of the loops. Press the long edges of the loops to the wrong side and topstitch. Fold the short edges to the wrong side. Place the loops on the FRONT SKIRT HALF and BACK SKIRT HALF according to markings and topstitch 0.1 cm from the fold.
- To ensure the skirt stays securely on the figure, it is recommended to perform the following steps: fold the skirt along the side seams, shift the side seams 2.0 – 2.5 cm towards the FRONT SKIRT HALF, and secure the panels together with a stitch approximately 10 cm long. Along the waistline at the fold points, secure the FRONT SKIRT HALF and BACK SKIRT HALF together using snaps or loops and buttons.
