    2. FRONT PANEL YOKE - 1 QTY
    3. BACK FACING - 1 QTY
    4. FRONT FACING - 1 QTY
    5. UPPER BACK FLOUNCE - 1 QTY
    6. UPPER FRONT FLOUNCE - 1 QTY
    7. LOWER BACK FLOUNCE - 1 QTY
    8. LOWER FRONT FLOUNCE - 1 QTY
  • From FUSIBLE INTERFACING: back and front facings.

Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse interfacing to the skirt facings.
  2. Stitch darts on the back panel yoke. Press darts towards the center of the piece.
  3. Back skirt half assembly: Stitch along the upper edge of the upper flounce with loosely tensioned stitches. Gather the edge to the length of the lower edge of the back skirt yoke, distributing the gathers evenly. Attach the upper flounce to the yoke. Press the seam upwards and overcast.
  4. Stitch along the upper edge of the lower flounce with loosely tensioned stitches. Gather the edge to the length of the lower edge of the upper flounce, distributing the gathers evenly. Attach the lower flounce to the upper flounce. Press the seam upwards and overcast.
  5. Front skirt half assembly is similar to the back skirt half assembly.
  6. Stitch the left side seam from the fastener mark downwards. Press the seam open, pressing the seam allowance for the fastener and overcast. Place the ZIPPER under the seam allowances and stitch so that the teeth are not visible.
  7. Fold the skirt along the right side edge and true it to a straight line. Stitch and overcast the right side seam of the skirt. Press the seam towards the back panel.
  8. Stitch and press open the side seam of the facings. Overcast the lower edge. Place the facings with the upper edge of the skirt right sides together and stitch. Topstitch the facing seam onto the facing 0.2 cm from the stitching line. Fold the facings to the wrong side and press.
  9. Press the hem allowance of the skirt to the wrong side, fold, and topstitch.
