Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the back and front neckline FACINGS.
2. Stitch and serge the princess seams of the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL. Press the princess seams of the FRONT PANEL towards the center front, and the princess seams of the BACK PANEL towards the center back.
3. Serge the center back edges of the BACK PANEL. Press them to the wrong side. Place the ZIPPER under the SEAM ALLOWANCES so that the teeth are not visible, and stitch in place.
4. Stitch the back yoke to the upper part. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCE and press it towards the yoke. Stitch the front yoke to the upper part. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCE and press it towards the yoke.
5. Stitch and serge the side and shoulder seams of the dress. Press the shoulder and side seams towards the BACK PANEL.
6. Stitch the shoulder seams of the FACINGS. Place the FACING and neckline right sides together and stitch. Clip the seam in curved areas, turn the FACING to the wrong side, and press.
7. Clip the armhole at the NOTCHES. Cut a BIAS BINDING 4 cm wide and equal in length to the lower part of the armhole. Press the TRIM STRIP in half lengthwise, right side out. Place the BIAS BINDING right sides together with the lower part of the armhole and stitch. Fold the TRIM STRIP to the wrong side. Topstitch the seam allowance to the TRIM STRIP with a 0.1 cm wide seam.
8. Press the SLEEVE hem allowance to the wrong side, fold, and topstitch. Set the SLEEVE into the upper part of the armhole. Serge the seam.
9. Stitch the back center seam of the skirt. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES open and serge.
10. Press the skirt hem allowance to the wrong side, fold, and topstitch.
11. On the skirt panel, create and press the pleats according to the recommendations on the pattern.
12. Stitch the skirt to the yoke. Serge the seam and press upwards.
