Key Design Features

Silhouette: A close-fitting top with short sleeves, designed to flatter the figure.

Neckline: A classic boat neck that gracefully frames the collarbone.

Shoulder Detail: An integral tie detail on the right shoulder adds an asymmetrical and decorative element.

Sleeves: Short, set-in sleeves that provide comfortable arm coverage.

Back: Features a clean, unembellished back with the boat neckline continuing from the front.

Hem: A straight bottom hem for a clean finish.

Level Of Difficulty

Intermediate. Requires familiarity with sewing knit fabrics, including elastic stitching techniques and clean finishing of necklines and hems.

Fabric Recommendations

For the best drape and fit, choose knit fabrics with suitable stretch and recovery:

  • Medium to high stretch knit fabrics made from natural or blended fibers

Additional Supplies

No additional notions are required.

Cutting Plan

  • Back – 1 piece
  • Front – 1 piece
  • Left sleeve – 1 piece

Tip: Cut pieces from knit fabrics should be stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim seam allowances to 0.6 – 0.8 cm. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity.

  5. Serge the bottom edge of the garment and the bottom edge of the sleeve. Fold to the wrong side, press, and topstitch.
