Fabric & Materials

Tip: Pattern pieces made from knit fabrics should be stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging/overlocking, trim seam allowances to 0.6 – 0.8 cm. Hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity.

  • 1. Back – 1 piece
  • 2. Front – 1 piece
  • 3. Sleeve – 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

  1. Stitch shoulder and side seams of back and front. Serge/overlock seams and press towards the back.
  2. Stitch sleeve seams. Serge/overlock seams and press.
  3. Set sleeves into armholes, matching notches. Serge/overlock seams and press.
  4. Serge/overlock the bottom edge of the garment, the sleeve hems, and the neckline edge. Fold to the wrong side, press, and topstitch.
