Fabric & Materials

Pattern pieces made from knit fabrics should be stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim seam allowances to 0.6 – 0.8 cm. Hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity.

  • Front – 1 piece
  • Sleeve – 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

  1. Stitch the shoulder and side seams of the back and front. Serge the seams and press towards the back.
  2. Stitch the sleeve seams. Serge the seams and press.
  3. Set the sleeves into the armholes, matching notches. Serge the seams and press.
  4. Serge the bottom edge of the garment, the bottom edge of the sleeve, and the neckline edge. Fold to the wrong side, press, and topstitch.
