Cutting Plan
- From main fabric:
- 1. Upper back part – 1 piece
- 2. Lower back part – 1 piece
- 3. Upper front part – 2 pieces
- 4. Lower front part – 1 piece
- From lining fabric:
- 1. Upper back part – 1 piece
- 2. Upper front part – 2 pieces
Sewing Instructions
- Stitch the dart on the upper front part of both the main and lining pieces. Press the dart towards the center.
- Place the upper front part and lining right sides together and stitch along the center seam and armhole seam, stopping 1 cm before the upper seam. Fold the seam allowances of the center seam and armhole seam to the wrong side and stitch along the upper seam. Turn the pieces right side out and press. Topstitch along the upper seam 1 cm from the edge.
- Stitch the upper and lower front parts of the main fabric. Finish the seams and press towards the upper part. Separately finish the lower edge of the front lining.
- Stitch the upper back part with the lining along the upper edge. Turn the pieces right side out and press.
- Stitch the upper and lower back parts of the main fabric. Finish the seams and press towards the upper part. Separately finish the lower edge of the back lining.
- Stitch the side seams, leaving an opening for the zipper in the left side seam. Finish the seams. Press the right seam towards the front, press the left seam open, pressing the zipper opening. Insert the zipper. Attach the lining to the zipper tape.
- Topstitch the lower edge of the lining into the seam joining the upper and lower parts of the top. Topstitch 0.1 cm from the edge along the center front seam, armhole seam, and upper back seam.
- Finish the lower edge of the top, fold up, and topstitch 0.5 cm from the edge.
- Cut the strap. Fold the strap lengthwise right sides together and stitch 0.5 cm from the fold. Turn the strap right side out and press.
- Thread the strap through the front pieces as shown in the diagram.
