    2. Center FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY
    3. Inner FRONT PANEL – 2 QTY
    4. Strap – 1 QTY
    5. FRONT SKIRT HALF – 1 QTY
    6. BACK SKIRT HALF – 2 QTY
  • From LINING:
    1. BACK PANEL – 2 QTY
    2. Center FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY
    3. Inner FRONT PANEL – 2 QTY
  • From FUSIBLE INTERFACING:
    1. Center FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY
    2. Inner FRONT PANEL – 2 QTY
    3. BACK PANEL – 2 QTY

Main fabric can be used as LINING.

Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to BODICE pieces.
  2. Stitch the inner FRONT PANEL to the center FRONT PANEL. Overcast the SEAM ALLOWANCES and press towards the inner part.
  3. Stitch the BACK PANEL to the FRONT PANEL. Overcast the SEAM ALLOWANCES and press towards the BACK PANEL.
  4. Stitch the LINING pieces in a similar manner. Overcast the bottom edge of the LINING.
  5. Fold the strap lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch 0.5 cm from the fold. Turn the strap right side out and press. Attach one end of the strap to the neckline of the FRONT PANEL. During fitting, adjust the strap length and attach the second end.
  6. Stitch the side seams of the skirt. Overcast the SEAM ALLOWANCES and press towards the BACK PANEL. Stitch the center back seam of the BACK SKIRT HALF from the NOTCHES for the ZIPPER downwards. Overcast the SEAM ALLOWANCES and press open, pressing the ZIPPER openings.
  7. Stitch the BODICE to the skirt. Overcast the SEAM ALLOWANCES and press towards the FRONT PANEL. Insert the ZIPPER. Press the seam.
  8. Place the BODICE and LINING right sides together. Fold back the LINING 5 mm from the edges of the concealed fastener and pin to the upper edge of the dress. Fold the SEAM ALLOWANCES along the ZIPPER to the right side of the dress and pin to the upper edge over the LINING. Stitch the upper edges. Fold the SEAM ALLOWANCES along the fastener to the wrong side. Fold the LINING up and topstitch onto the seam allowance 1-2 mm from the seam. Fold the LINING to the wrong side and attach it to the ZIPPER tape. Press the pieces.
  9. Topstitch the bottom edge of the LINING into the seam joining the BODICE and skirt.
  10. Overcast the bottom edge of the sundress, fold under, and topstitch 0.5 cm from the bottom edge.
