FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING: FACING, upper COLLAR, stand.

CUTTER'S MUST

  • From main fabric:
  • 1. COLLAR – 2 QTY
  • 2. Stand – 2 QTY
  • 3. Center BACK PANEL – 2 QTY
  • 4. Side BACK PANEL – 2 QTY
  • 5. Side FRONT PANEL – 2 QTY
  • 6. Center FRONT PANEL – 2 QTY
  • 7. FACING – 2 QTY
  • 8. SLEEVE – 2 QTY

Sewing Instructions

  1. Reinforce the FACING, upper COLLAR, and stand with fusible interfacing.
  2. Stitch and serge the princess seams on the FRONT PANEL. Press the princess seams towards the center of the FRONT PANEL.
  3. Stitch and serge the princess seams on the BACK PANEL. Press the princess seams towards the center of the BACK PANEL.
  4. Serge, stitch, and press the center back seam.
  5. Serge the inner edge of the FACING.
  6. Place the FACING on the right side of the FRONT PANEL, right side down, pin, and stitch along the front edge. Stitching is done from the FRONT PANEL side upwards. Stitch the lower edges of the FACINGS to the FRONT PANEL strictly along the marked hemline. Trim the seams of the lower front corners. Topstitch the seam allowance of the front edge to the FACING. The stitching should be 0.2 cm from the seam. Turn the front edges to the right side, and straighten the seams.
  7. Serge, stitch, and press the shoulder seams towards the BACK PANEL.
  8. Serge, stitch, and press the side seams towards the BACK PANEL.
  9. Stitch the under COLLAR to the upper COLLAR, trim the seam allowances at the corners, and turn the COLLAR right side out. Press the COLLAR.
  10. Stitch the stands, inserting the COLLAR between them.
  11. Attach the lower stand with the COLLAR to the neckline, fold under the raw edge of the upper stand, and topstitch into the seam of the lower stand attachment. Add a decorative stitch along the COLLAR.
  12. Stitch the SLEEVE seams. Serge the SLEEVE seam and press.
  13. Set in the SLEEVES, easing the cap. Serge the armhole seam.
  14. Serge the hem allowances of the garment and SLEEVES, turn to the wrong side, and topstitch along the edge.
  15. On the right FRONT PANEL, serge the buttonholes, and on the left FRONT PANEL, sew on the buttons.
