Sewing Instructions
- Mark and stitch the darts on the front yoke, press the darts downwards.
- Fold the front yoke in half, wrong sides together, and press.
- Attach the front yoke to the front central. Overlock the attachment seam and the lower edge of the yoke.
- Overlock the lower edge of the front side facing. Place the front side facing on the front side, right sides together, and stitch along the contour, leaving the lower and side edges of the facing free. Clip seam allowances at corners and turn the facing out. Press the facing.
- Attach the front side to the front central, making notches at the relief corners. Overlock the relief seams. Press the relief seams. Topstitch the front side facing onto the yoke and the front central.
- Fold the back yoke in half, wrong sides together, and press. Attach the back yoke to the back central. Overlock the attachment seam and the lower edge of the yoke.
- Overlock the lower edge of the back side facing. Place the back side facing on the back side, right sides together, and stitch along the contour, leaving the lower and side edges of the facing free. Clip seam allowances at corners and turn the facing out. Press the facing.
- Attach the back side to the back central, making notches at the relief corners. Overlock the relief seams. Press the relief seams. Topstitch the back side facing onto the yoke and the back central.
- Overlock the side edges of the back and front. Stitch and press open the side seams of the sundress.
- Overlock the center back edge. Stitch the center seam up to the notch for the zipper. Press open the center back seam, press the zipper openings. Insert the zipper.
- Cut shoulder straps from the main material. Fold each strap lengthwise and stitch 1 cm from the fold. Turn the straps out and press. Put on the sundress, adjust the length of the straps, and attach them.
- Overlock the lower edge of the sundress, fold up, and topstitch.
