Sewing Instructions
- Mark and stitch the bust darts on the FRONT PANEL. Press the bust darts downwards. Mark and stitch the waist darts on the FRONT PANEL. Press the darts towards the center of the FRONT PANEL.
- Overlock the side edges of the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL.
- Stitch and overlock the two-part waistband. Stitch, overlock, and press the center back seam. Overlock with a rolled hem, without stretching it: the lower edge of the flounces, the upper and lower edges of waistband 1 and 2, the upper edge of the FRONT PANEL flounce. Attach the flounce to the BACK PANEL. Overlock the attachment seam and press it towards the flounce.
- Fold and press the BIAS BINDING in half lengthwise. Finish the armhole edge of the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL, the neckline edge of the FRONT PANEL up to the NOTCH, and the neckline edge of the BACK PANEL with the BIAS BINDING.
- Fold the flounce with the FRONT PANEL wrong sides together and finish the neckline edge of the FRONT PANEL. Overlock the attachment seam and topstitch it onto the FRONT PANEL at a distance of 0.4 cm from the finishing seam.
- Attach lower flounce 2 to the right FRONT PANEL. Attach the waistband to the right FRONT PANEL. Overlock the flounce attachment seam and press it towards the flounce. Attach lower flounce 1 to the left FRONT PANEL. Attach the waistband to the left FRONT PANEL. Overlock the flounce attachment seam and press it towards the flounce.
- Stitch the side seams of the dress, leaving an opening for the waistband in the right side seam. Stitch and overlock the shoulder seams of the dress.
