Sewing Instructions

Tip: Confirm the placement of the shoulder seams during fitting.
Mark and stitch the bust darts on the front yoke. Press the bust darts downwards.
Attach the front yoke to the middle front. Overlock the seam and press it towards the front yoke. Topstitch satin ribbon onto the front bodice and the front skirt (according to the technical drawing).
Attach the front bodice to the front skirt. Overlock the seam and press it towards the front skirt.
Attach the upper back to the back skirt. Overlock the seam and press it towards the back skirt.
Topstitch satin ribbon over the seam joining the back skirt and the upper back. Topstitch satin ribbon over the seam joining the front skirt and the front bodice. Topstitch ribbon onto the upper back from the notch to the lower edge of the back low-cut neckline (according to the technical drawing).
Stitch the side and shoulder seams of the dress. Overlock the side and shoulder seams and press them towards the back.
Overlock the edges: front and back neckline, front and back armholes, and the back low-cut neckline. Fold the seam allowances to the wrong side of the dress, press without stretching, and topstitch 0.5 cm from the edge.
Overlock the center back edges. Stitch the center back seam up to the zipper notch and press it open, also pressing the zipper opening allowances. Insert the invisible zipper.
Overlock the bottom edge of the dress, fold up and topstitch 1.5 cm from the bottom edge. Tie the decorative bows on the front.
