Sewing Instructions
- Place the pocket lining on the center of the front of the trousers, right sides together, and stitch the pocket opening. Fold the lining to the wrong side. Topstitch along the pocket opening 0.5 cm from the edge. Place the center of the front to the marking on the side of the front, which defines the pocket opening. Secure the side of the front with the center of the front of the trousers along the upper and side edges with a 1 cm seam. Stitch and overlock the pocket lining.
- Overlock: the side edge of the back and front, the inseam edges of the front and back, the front and center edges of the trouser halves. Stitch and press open the side seam allowances of the front and back.
- Stitch and press open the inseam seam allowances. Stitch the front edge and the center edge. Make a second stitch along the seat seam next to the stitching of the front and center seam.
- Press the waistband in half lengthwise, wrong sides together, and overlock the lower inner edge of the waistband. Unfold the waistband and stitch the side edge, leaving an opening for the elastic trim strip. Press open the side seam of the waistband.
- Attach the waistband to the upper edge of the trousers. Topstitch the lower edge of the waistband into the waistband attachment seam. Insert the elastic trim strip and secure it into a loop.
- Mark and punch eyelets on the trousers at the bottom. Thread a decorative cord through the eyelets and attach a stopper. Overlock the hem allowance and press it to the wrong side. Topstitch the allowances to the trousers. Tip: if desired, you can thread the cord through the waistband of the trousers and attach a stopper, as shown in the technical drawing.
