Sewing Instructions
- Reinforce the placket with fusible interfacing.
- Fold the placket pieces and stitch the outer edge of the placket. Topstitch the seam allowance to the lower placket at a distance of 0.2 cm from the seam. Overlock the outer edge of the lower placket.
- Attach the placket to the front. Topstitch the overlocked edge of the placket into the placket attachment seam. Press the placket when finished.
- Attach the triangular wedge to the front. Overlock the attachment seam and press it towards the front.
- Overlock the bottom edge of the front side. Press the seam allowance and topstitch at a distance of 0.5 cm from the bottom edge.
- Join the front and its side along the side seam and along the neckline edge of the front.
- Overlock the center back edge of the back. Stitch and press open the center back seam of the back. Stitch and overlock the side seams of the sundress. Press the side seams towards the back.
- Fold the bias binding in half, press, and finish the neckline edges of the front and back, and the armhole edges of the front and back.
- Stitch the shoulder seams and press them towards the back. Overlock, fold, and topstitch the hem of the garment. Mark and attach snaps to the placket.
