Fabric Recommendations
Choose lightweight, draping fabrics for the main body of the pants, and ribbed knit fabric for the cuffs and waistband:

- Lightweight fabrics with a fluid drape (e.g., rayon challis, crepe de chine)
- Ribbed knit fabric (for waist & cuffs)

Sewing Instructions
- Stitch and overlock the side seams of the trousers. Press the side seams towards the back.
- Stitch and overlock the inseams. Press the inseams towards the back.
- Stitch the front and center seam. Overlock the front and center seam. Stitch a second line along the seat seam next to the stitching line of the front and center seam.
- Stitch and overlock the side seams of the cuff into a ring. Attach the cuff to the bottom of the trousers, easing the bottom edge of the trousers and stretching the cuff. Overlock the attachment seam.
- Cut the elastic trim strip according to your size. Stitch the side seams of the elastic trim strip. Stitch and overlock the side seams of the waistband. Baste the elastic trim strip to the bottom edge of the knit waistband.
- Align the side seams of the waistband and trousers, then attach the waistband, easing the top edge of the trousers and stretching the bottom edge of the waistband. Remove temporary stitching. Attach the elastic trim strip to the waistband. Overlock the attachment seam.
