CUTTER'S MUST

  • From main fabric:
    1. BACK SKIRT HALF – 2 QTY
    2. FRONT SKIRT HALF – 1 QTY
    3. FRONT SKIRT HALF FACING – 1 QTY
    4. BACK SKIRT HALF FACING – 2 QTY
    5. FLOUNCE – 4 QTY
  • FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING: FRONT and BACK PANEL facings.

Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to: FRONT and BACK PANEL facings.
  2. Mark and stitch darts on the FRONT and BACK PANELS. Press darts on the BACK PANEL towards the center of the BACK PANEL, and darts on the FRONT PANEL towards the center of the FRONT PANEL.
  3. Overlock the side edges of the FRONT and BACK PANELS. Stitch the side seams of the skirt and press open.
  4. Stitch the side edges of the facings and press seams open. Overlock the outer edge of the facings.
  5. Stitch the side edges of the flounces, leaving the center edge of the flounce free. Overlock seams and press.
  6. Attach the flounce to the lower edge of the skirt. Overlock the seam and press towards the skirt.
  7. Overlock the center edge of the skirt and flounce. Stitch the center seam of the skirt and flounce, leaving an opening for the ZIPPER.
  8. Insert the ZIPPER. Finish the upper edge of the FRONT and BACK SKIRT HALVES with the facing. Topstitch the facing allowance to the facing 0.2 cm from the finishing seam. Turn under the side edges of the facing and hand stitch.
  9. Overlock the lower edge of the flounces, stretching it.
