TIP: To ensure the material remains stretchy in the areas of finished seams, stitch the cut pieces with a narrow zigzag or special stretchy stitch. To keep the bottom edge stretchy, overcast the hem with an overlock stitch, then attach it using a twin needle. The same applies to finishing other edges of the garment that should not lose elasticity. These recommendations do not apply to industrial production.

Sewing Instructions

  1. Overcast, fold, and topstitch the armhole SEAM ALLOWANCES on the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL.
  2. Turn under the ends of the ties. Fold the ties lengthwise and stitch 0.7 cm from the fold. Turn the ties right side out and press. Sew the ends closed.
  3. Overcast the shoulder edges. Stitch the shoulder seams. Topstitch the shoulder seams 1 cm from the stitching line on both sides. Insert the ties inside the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
  4. Face the front part of the COLLAR with the front part of the casing. Face the back part of the COLLAR with the back part of the casing.
  5. Stitch the side edges of the COLLAR with the casings, leaving openings in the left side seam of the casing for elastic tape. Turn the COLLAR right side out and press.
